Worried about how to network in a pandemic? No worries! We will have an introduction to networking by a local expert, Tim Hykes.

Tim is dedicated to advancing diversity in the design profession and sharing what he's learned. You can hear him speak at conferences such as the Adobe Max Conference and Saint Louis Design Week. He is the Co-Founder & Director of Design + Diversity, a conference that explores proactive ways to make the design industry more diverse.

After Tim's introduction to networking, we will mingle virtually using kumospace. You'll be able to wander about the STLX complex to say hi to friends, meet new people, pour yourself a drink, or enjoy a relaxing float in the pool. Bring your friends and join us in the STLX Pub, STLX Tavern, STLX Poolside Lounge, or STLX Chill Vibes for general socializing. If you're all about getting stuff done, we've got four dedicated rooms for folks who are all about jobs (Hiring & Looking) and mentorship (Mentor/Mentee).

For the networking portion of the event, we'll hop over to kumospace after the presentation with Tim. We'll post it in the Zoom chat the night of the event.
